no water out of head on evinrude mod.4447 s/n 91184 5 hp. pump is working and when i hook up a hose to the flush fitting still no water comming out thanks

I think it isn't in the right position at the powerhead. Do you have a manual?

I don't believe there's supposed to be any water coming from the head (tell tale) on that motor. Does it overheat? If not, don't worry about it.<br />Backlash

There should be a water outlet midway up the exhaust housing in the back - round hole, pees straight out...<br />- Scott

hi guies thanks for the hels droped the lower unit. water pump and plate is ok. don't see a copper tube. -thanks bear- no manual oldest one i can find is 1956. any ideas where to look for this manual doug

D T, I was on ebay the other day.Put in outboard manual. Something like 30 pages came up maybe your manual is there somewhere.<br /> Also www.kencook.com does reprints of manuals.
