Seat pedestal

My recently acquired fishing boat has a post (about 3" dia, I think) that has a screw type base. You put it in the floor and then turn (screw) it in tight. The screw is about 3/4 of an inch(dia) or so and about an inch high. Anyone know where I can find this type of post. I've looked at most of the major suppliers but don't seem to find it. Thanks!

Lary,<br /> Does your post have a seat swivel at the top?<br />I bought a complete base,13" post, and seat swivel<br />from Bass Pro last year. The post screwed into<br />the base with a 3/4" threaded end.<br />Check Bass Pro online and if see if you see it there. IF not, I could e-mail you a snapshot of what I bought to see if it's what you are looking for.

Thanks. Will check Bass Pro(hadn't thought of that one). Am looking for a longer post to use on a butt seat.
