I just purchased a 1986 Bayliner Capri 19 1/2 ft w/125hp Force outboard, it is completely original from the original owner. The motor runs great with approx 150 in each cylinder on a compression tester. The boat wants to turn hard right, the faster it goes the harder it wants to turn. The boat won't get up on plane and leans to the right loaded or with just a driver in the boat. the power tilt/trim in working fine and doesn't seem to help. I dont know the WOT rpm but the boat speedo reads 37-41 mph at it's fastest speed. I tried adjusting the trim tab in the direction of the turn but the boat seems to want to zig zag. The boat is dry in all the areas I can see. It has a set of doil fins and the cavitation plate is even with the bottom of the boat. Please help.

If the hydrofoil(s) weren't installed in alignment that could be you problem. It is easy enough to remove it and see if that clears up your problem.

Re: Bayliner with handeling problems

does the bot launch level at first then lean right after you make a right turn
