Garmin 250C vs. Lowrance X-105C df ??

Ok, I have narrowed it down to the garmin 250C or the Lowrance X-105C DF. I know in my previous posts I mentioned fishing down to 500ft. That is not actually the case, the deepest part of the lake is 500ft and I would just like to be able to see bottom. As for fishing, I do not think I will ever go below 200ft, most of the time I will be fishing around 60ft to 100ft. Please give me any opinions, feedback, or general comparisions on these two units.<br />Thanks<br />John

No one can tell you much about these as they have not been released yet. Only difference I see in the general spec is the Lowrance has a 240 pixel history while the Garmin had a 320 pixel history.

Thanks for all the info, I ordered the Lowrance today. I hope I will be happy with it, I will let you all know how it works in a month or two (still waiting for all the snow to melt) Thanks again.

Yes I did download the emulator, very helpful, I wish all companies had that feature on their web site. I would have liked to play with a few to get a true comparision. That may be why Lowrance won my business.
