This week's races are at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta. Truck, X-Men and Cup are running on three successive nights beginning Thursday evening. No restrictor plates! From MRN, this weekend's schedule;



40 names on the entry list, so all will race. Weather is fair for most of the time except Friday may have early morning T-Storms.

News and Notes

• Only one written warning for McMurray, a really light week at Daytona. However, X-Man Darrell Wallace got a $15K fine for calling race officials Muppets in a post-race tweet. :lol:
• Some TV viewers felt there were a lot of commercials during this race. Pete Pistone on MRN says balderdash. A small comparison from this year and last;

Young Truck rookie William Bryon won last night's Truck race and Shrubby won X-Men tonight.

Cup qualifying was cancelled because of rain, resulting in the field being set by points.

The only positive thing I can say about all the commercials is I'm glad they use the dual screen at times so we able to see the race.

Have to pay the piper, yes I understand that, but come on folks.
