i have a 1967 merc 110 9.8 i was wondering if I can us a 1965 for parts that is also a 9.8

When looking at the serial number range the both fall in the same group so it looks like the parts would be inter changeable.

I am pretty sure other than the carb a 7.5 HP model 75 is the same as well.

If the parts motor has a good carb I may be interested in buying if you want to sell it.
