I have a Chrylser 55hp with the altenator. The model number on the plate inside the houseing at the front says 557HE and the serail is 3393 I can not seem to get any straight info on what year this is so that I can put in a new set of spark plugs that are the correct ones for this motor. I was told it was a 1979 but from what I see on the internet it could be a 1972 or a 1973 on up to a 1976 depending on what web page you find. Does anyone know for SURE what I might have here? Thank you for any help I can get. OH by the way I have seen gaping on plugs that are supposed to fit this motor at .30 and .40???
