Whats Going on with the Threads/Posts, is it just me...

Every time I post a reply or comment, the post will disappear and then if I repost the first one will reappear but will then disappear later. I am loosing as many as the last 10 or 12 posts in a thread.

Is anyone else seeing this? Or is it just me experiencing this

Well..... I just checked and you have had no threads deleted by any moderation.

You need to give specific examples...... however, there are no problems here.

You are making a post, and forgetting to hit the "submit reply" button, (the ones that actually disappear), or you are submitting a reply and then hitting the back button. That reloads the page from your cache, which doesn't have your post in it. If you then hit the refresh button, it will appear.

In other words, there is a loose nut.........

What happens is I hit submit and then the screen changes and shows my post below the previous post, then I look at another post and and I get an alert that someone has replied so I go back and look at it and my post along with anything after mine is missing. but if I add another comment or repost everything comes back. Must be something on my end.

Its even happening with this post, while in the main area that shows all the different posts, it shows this one has 7 posts the last one being from skargo at 12:4?pm, I even get an email telling me he replied and I can see the reply within that email but when I go into the post I can only see up to #5. ??????

Just messing with you. But all is well on this end. Don't know what it could be. The computer gods can be frustrating - or else Steve is back!

There is nothing to be found that relates to a problem..... I just did a detailed check.

Are you going back up to the top of the page and clicking the forum title
heading (ie:dockside chat) before looking at another post on the same thread?
Hitting the back button anytime before doing this will cause all kind's
of trouble. Hope this helps.

Nothing wierd about it. You post your reply, then click on "Back". What you get is what was there before you posted.

Refresh the page and viola!, there is your post. :)

Like I said. You're getting the "errant" screen out of your own cache. Learn to use the refresh button.

The refresh button or even hitting F5, does not change anything. I have even closed Internet Explorer and still no change.

I think I am seeing all the posts for this thread right now, if these were the last 2 posts anyway.

ditch internet explorer, and go to Foxfire, it is more friendly with iboats server. the problem is on your end.
