I have had the carb rebuilt , and after running a few minutes it starts pouring gas out of it. I bought the kit with a new float, is there any other reason besides float sticking that can cause this?

No, it's the float/needle valve hanging up on you....

Thanks tx. Can you give me any advice on how to correct this short of buying another carb kit?

Take the carb off and fiddle with it. Something is not aligned quite right with the float, and you should be able to see where it's hanging up with the bowl off.
No need for a new kit; all you're taking off is the bowl and that gasket is normally a nice rubber one that can be reused.

Thanks i took it off could not see where it was hanging anywhere so I bent the float just a fraction and seemed to fix it anyway ran it for awhile and never spit out gas.:)

oops spoke to soon, went out to the river a few miles on my journey and it started pouring gas out of the carb again. Maybe something still dirty around the needle valve?:(
