i have a 2003 volvo 5.7 gxi with an sx drive and wondering how easy is it to swap it to a dps.

Very easy, just replace the lower unit of the drive. The upper is the same.
You need a lower with a 1.95:1 gear ratio for your 5.7.

thinking of ways to get more speed out of it. basically tops out at 60 with a 21 pitch aluminum prop. would like to reach at least 70
