Exhaust manifolds????

What does every one recomend to use on the pipe plugs on a exhaust manifold.
Teflon sealer or other???

a couple of wraps of teflon tape would be fine and cheapest. zero curing time.

I used some of the copper Permatex RTV... 5 years ago...holding up fine.

Cast iron manifold/brass plug.... You could probably get a good enough seal without anything, but I use either PTFE tape or Loctite 565...

And DO NOT screw it all the way in, it`s a tapered fit.Snug and a 1/4 turn
