help 30 horse oil injection mariner outboard

engine going fine, till ran out of oil she goes ok on half revs but after a while on full, alarm and engine cuts down to a crawl,engine pumping out water ok,any help please,

Do a compression test. Post back results.

compression good, it was 2 stroke that ran low,can i do away with oil injection,and pre mix in fuel ,any help would be great
