Waiting to Clean Boat after Salt Walter Outing

Sometimes it is pretty busy at our marina and there are only 2 washdown stations. When it is busy, I typically trailer the boat to my house (ahout 15 mins away) and flush the motor there and wash down the boat and trailer with soap and water. Is there any problem with doing this?

Thanks
David

15 minutes will not make a difference...hours and days, maybe, but not 15 minutes.

i wouldn't worry too much about it unless I am seriously overlooking something.

Absolutely no problem, unless your rig isn't set up for SW. Even then, I can't think of anything that going to happen to it that washing it down after use is going to prevent.

My boat gets hosed off a good bit of the time. It gets washed some of the time and it gets put away wet on a regular basis. The only things I try to be religious about are the brakes. Even then, it is 60/40 if it gets done or not.

Exposed areas may dry to salt crystals. Might/will scratch plastic windows and wax.
