We are looking at getting our first boat and went and looked at a 1990 Reinell 181 SR with the 4.3L King Cobra engine. It looked good for its age, fired up instantly and sounded great.
I also may be checking out a 1989 Reinell 19' open bow ski boat. It looks great from the pictures and has had some work done to it recently.
My question is this boat looks a little different than the 181 SR. Will the '89 open bow have the same great hull that I've read about on the 181 series? I really like the low sleek look of the 181 SR. All of the pictures of the '89 are of it in the water so I can't see how deep the hull is.
Also, will the open bow's 4.3L be the same as the 205hp King Cobra motor in the 181 SR? The 1989 is advertised as an I/O OMC V6.
If they are different which one would you recommend for a first time wake boarding/tubing/fun on the lake boat.
Thanks.
