i have evinrude 40 hp twin motors and am having problems getting one started. we used it in the morning traveled home and attempted to boat in the evening and it wouldnt start. we replaced the starter but it still will not start. we cleaned all posts and made sure connections were tight. it initially acted like the flywheel wasnt spinning fast enough. we did find the neg. connection on the battery was loose. we tightened that and then the flywheel appeared to spin faster. we just cant seem to get it to fire up. starting to get a bit frustrated what could the problem be.
