1977 Evinrude 9.9 HP

I have a 1977 9.9 HP Evinrude with no spark. I used it about 1 month ago and it ran fine. When I went to use it about 2 weeks ago it would not start and does not appear to have spark. Any ideas as to the cause?

Disconnect the ground going to the stop switch and try it again. If that doesn't work the usually culprit is the powerpack.
