454 mercruiser water mixed with oil

I have a 454 mercruiser mag mpi and there is water in the oil. I dont think it is a head gasket or crack head becuase the temp never went up past 170. i have heard that with the 1999 454 mercruiser had a problem with the exhaust manifolds cracking and dumping water into the engine. What can I do to find out the problem?

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,...

Never heard that,... I'd sooner think a Freeze cracked block...Or maybe a Freeze cracked oil cooler...

Pressure testing is how you find out...

Did you winterize it last fall???
