How does a loose connection pop a breaker unless the connection is on the breaker and the heat conducts into the breaker.
Short circuits and overloads pop breakers.

I am with FED on this one. A loose connection will cause less current flow, not more. The problem was disturbed while he was isolating the different circuits. Also would not be the first time I saw a circuit breaker degrade and would not pass the rated current. Especially around salt water. regards FRED
