115hp honda

I have a HOnda 115hp outboard motor (BF115XCA)
The problem is when i move the control to forward it goes counterclockwise
and when i move the control to reverse it goes clockwise the propeller.
The motor came with a clockwise propeller.
So is it one of those motor that suppose run counterclockwise or is it a control problem?

Sounds like the control is either the wrong one, or is setup incorrectly. Not sure about genuine Honda controls, but I know that Yamaha controls can be set either for "push" forward, or "pull" forward.

Judging by your model # you have an extra long counter rotater and spining counterclockwise at the prop in forward is appropriate.

Sorry ,I forgot to add,they gave you the wrong prop.Watch out for these guys.
