Optimax 75 HP - Won't Start

All,

Have an optimax that usually starts immediately. Last time out, I turned the key and nothing happened.....no "power up" beep, no priming sounds.....nothing. After trolling halfway across the lake, it fired right up. Today, tested it out before going out.....nothing.....no beep, no priming, no turnover. All the fuses look intact....was wondering if I have a bad ignition switch....any ideas on how to troubleshoot? Thanks in advance!!

If your alarms are wired into your switch, then I would really lean that direction. If you have a meter, check your power in/out with the key on and the key off. That will let you know if anything is getting past the ignition switch. Also do you have one or two batteries? Clean and check your conections if you have a seperate battery for your ignition.
