well new boat for me and the trailer needed work on it so jack up the trailer with boat on it.. Remove old axle.. Then everthing went to s____ . all the old axle is 59.5 inches don,t make that size here any more so new one is 58"... all the bolts on leaf spring where rust so bad had to cut them off the bushings where broken to .. Guess what they don't make that type of bushing anymore so i had to fab my own .. 45min job takes 3 hours a few cuss words some beer but its all back together now thank god..... looks good to new tires 3500 lb axle . Now need to redo the trailer lights ya

Three hours sounds good for what you accomplished. It could have gone worse.:D

I feel your pain. I spent 6 hours working on my trailer on Saterday. But hey, just think you shouldn't have to deal with it again for a few years.

Are you sure you didn't write that story about Me and My trailer.
Only My axle came in at 48" and the spring centers are 49 1/2"
All I have left is the lights, Ill paint it next winter. I want to go fishin!!
