power tilt questions

1976 Johnson 135 v4. where do I check and fill fluid level? Also, what are the side screws for? are they both releases? please see pics, Thank you

manual is on its way. Just thought I'd ask. Cant wait to get answers to my questions. Everyone is usually so nice and helpfull on iboats, usually. Thank you.
