I just recieved some manuals in the mail today, and all the covers say the year prior to what I had asked for..

i am wondering if a 1995 manual is supposed to say :

1995 outboard motor corporation. all right reserved

or

1994 outboard motor corporation. all rights reserved

because the 1995 manual i asked says 1994 on the cover.

I think it MIGHT be possible they listed the rights are reserved before the issued the manual...ie when they had them printed..

thanks

Yeah I think you are correct in your assumption. It does say that it is for a 1995 motor, correct?

Just like cars, the 1995 models are on the showroom by August 1994. In fact, back when I was in the dealership, if we didn't have our motors ordered by December, lots of luck getting any for the following year. The factory warehouse was empty by snow melt and they were working on the following year's motors.

Re: factory manual years

there should be a list of model numbers the manual covers, in the first few pages of the book. they built 95 motors actually in 1994.

should have looked through the book a little better

it covers models with EO suffix , with a few odd commerical models that appear to not use the normal INTRODUCES format

so it is a 1995 manual.

I feel better...

id love to ask a question while here...on the decal sets sold for motors like mine...they offer maybe 5 different options from under a $100 to over $700!!

what kind of decal set do you get that needs to costs $700????

thanks guys
