Johnson Seahorse 9.5 year needed

I have a Johnson Seahorse and think the plate says Model OD 16 and Serial # 122832. What is the year and where can I get help/parts/diagrams to fix, it as the starter cord seems jammed?

QD 16 is possible as plate is old. Cover says 9.5 but 10 is possible as well, thanks.

the 9.5 and 9.9 were listed as 10 hp models....even though that was not their exact HP...

If the cover says 9.5 it may well be, but your numbers don't match any 9.5.

What's on the nickel-sized welch plug on the engine block?

Will need a couple days to find that info on plug as we are traveling north for holiday. Thanks for info and I will check that. Engine is ok but starting mech. seems jammed. May need to see blowup of pull start cogs, etc.

If it is 1968 or later you will find exploded diagrams in the parts catalog at http://shop.evinrude.com/

If it is earlier, back to 1955, Then you will have to sneak out of the back door and look HERE.
