Re: steering cable oops!

Hi,

Welcome to the forum. I've found this place to be a god send since buying my boat last year. If you ask in the Repair and Maintenance forums you might get a better response. Give as many details as possible regarding engine spec, not sure there is any specific forums for jet power but it's worth a go!

Best of luck,

D.

Hi have you been able to find a service manual for your rig? try removing the cable from the connection at the stern. go back to the steering wheel. if it turns freely without being connected. then next find center. by turning all the way to the left then right determine center. tape the steering hub in place or have a someone hold it tight while you go back to the stern and center your drive system and reconnect it. you hopfully should gain full range of movement..
