Hi All- I'm new here - Matt from Philly, nice to meet yas!

So I built these speaker enclosures as a gift for my little bro to put on his boat. I suck at carpentry so he should appreciate these, but not unless they are fully functional. Because the Sony's are highly directional, I want to make them pivot. My 2 questions are:

1. What kind of hardware can I use to make the speakers pivot?

2. How can I mount the front covers of the box? (I made the mistake of carpeting first and so I guess I should use some kind of bracket?)

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Why not just use some oval head SS screws with finishing washers to mount the covers?

The speakers are infinate baffle design so sealing the enclosure 100% is not required.

Pivoting... thats a whole new problem.

You want the boxes to swivel? Try a seat swivel then...
