need help QUICK!! rebuilding yoke/seals

hey im rebuilding the u-joint assembly and attached in my pic i was wondering if yoke is supposed to be touching o-ring carrier? seal? attached is pic the arrows points to where its touching..

If it`s a mercruiser ,that wrong. but not knowing what your working on it`s only a guess.

uhh yea it is mercruiser.... whats wrong with it? i know the retainer hasto go on.. i dis and reassembled it same way... i believe lol
