18ft cc weldable or not?

Chime is cracked along the side of the boat. It seems to be a common problem in salt water usage. Heavy pounding. Can anybody let me know if this is fixable? Any help would be great. no body around here has much starcraft exsperience. I love this boat and do not want to see it go to the scrap yard.

You will have to find a shop that can specialize in Alum..
Fixeable yes, but they have to be on their "A" game..

Thank you sooo much. I have plenty of welding under my belt but aluminum tig welding is new to me. Thought i would give it a shot but the cost of everything is probably more than paying someone to do it. When the cover comes off for the winter i will get some pics of her before during and after the repair so hopefully it will help someone in the future.
