Can the pilot lights be changed?

I have a blower switch that the pilot light does not work on. The switch otherwise operates the blower fine. I'd like to see the light so I don't forget it's on all the time. Does anyone know if you can replace the pilot light in these switches? I don't want to start prying the rocker cover off unless I know it is made to come apart.
Thanks.

Ayuh,... I've never seen a switch that was made to be taken apart, muchless put back together...

I'd think it'd be much easier to just add an in-line idiot light...

There is a ground terminal on a switch with a pilot light. That ground lead may have popped off either at the switch or at the ground point. Check that before replacing the switch. otherwise Radio Shack offers an entire line of regular and LED indicator lights that can be easily added.

Your switch panel most likely uses Carling switches which have an indicator light. As Silvertip stated, there is a ground wire that terminates to the top terminal on the back side of the switch. Check for a good ground here.

If you need one, let me know, I've got a couple laying around...

Seabob4, you are the man. It is a Carling switch and I found alot of info on their website. I'll check it out.
