Problems finding manual for 351 Ford Kodiak

Motor is a 1991 351 kodiak with a kodiak 2 stage pump.
Im looking to find anyone out there still running a ford marinized by KEM? Im also trying to find a manual or any liturature for this motor and pump combo. I spoke with KEM about getting any manuals and they said they jettisoned all of them since switching to chevy but sujested posting the question to a boating forum such as this. Same with Almar (now northriver boats).

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard Chad,.... As you're finding out,... Fords are kinda a Dead Horse in the Marine Biz....

Depending on exactly What information you need,...
I'd think the Merc manual for the old 351s might be of Some help...

What did Kodiak use for Induction,+ Igntion,..??
Other than that it's pretty much another Ford, in another boat,.....

I would imagine the 1991 351 was fuel injected, and likely the same type of setup that the MasterCrafts, etc had in the tournament ski boats up through '95-'96 or so. Is there a specific problem you're having? While manifold aren't as easy to find for the 351 as they are for the 350, it's still pretty easy to find anything you need.

Ignition? I do know is has a distributor. Ignorance is not bliss!

No its carburated. The problem I?m having is the heads are bad (cracks and valve seats are gone.) Motor is very high in hours, So I think I need to rebuild or buy new. Options I've found are
New Kodiak 350 marine Vortec engine with full closed cooling
With 4" exhaust 310HP carburated from KEM over $8,000. Im told bolt in ready to run.
Or Rebuilt ford 351 marine engine 300HP from US engines $2,000. I would have to use my intake manifold exaust carb etc etc.

Ayuh,... That distributer will have a Name or Numbers stamped on it, or a tag riveted to it,...
That should lead you to Who's it is,... Prestolite, Mallory, etc...
And of course the components to keep it workin'...

That don't sound tooo bad for a Long Block Ford,....

Are the accessory components of the Bad motor still usable,..??
