Is this a craigslist scam too?

I listed my car for sale on CL last night. I got a reply this morning that said this:

"Hi there,

I am really interested in your auto. Do you still have it? If so, I'm interested in stopping by to take a look, but
I would like to what the insurance would run me ahead of time.

Could you do me a big favor and go to (EDIT: Naughty, naughty) and tell me what
the average quote is for our area? I tried to do it, but for some reason I couldn't find it in their list. It should
only take a couple minutes...Thank you"



I'll assume it's a scam, cause anybody can get insurance quotes online. I mean, if "she" could send an e-mail, "she" can log onto Progressive's sight.
I didn't click the link or anything, didn't respond, I came right here to my internet "buddies" that seem to know about these scams. So what is this scam?

Probably a sleazy insurance agent wanting you to check out their site and buy some insurance.

Even here, You can enter some text, then mark it and make a totally unrelated link out of it. For example

I am calling scam. I was looking forward to a few entertaining scammers when I sold my last car this past summer but it sold on CL in two hours.

What constitutes a "bad link"?...."forbidden" I can understand.

"bad" only requires three keystrokes (with left hand) vs. nine. Right arm not working well. . .tendonitis.

If they don't sound American then most likely a scam. Who do you know that says auto instead of car? I love it when their salutation is "hello dear", dead give away.

Obviously it was a real link to a site that is inappropriate.... nudge, nudge,
I had thought it was a "made-up" link as a joke....
like www.dontclickonthislinkifyourwifeorkidsarewatching.com that doesn't go anywhere.
