Help Make Front Center Bunks

I was quoted by a local trailer dealer 200 bucks per side for the "baby bunks" or "front center bunks" as seen in the picture below. Thats 400 bucks for bunks, I don't think so!

Where can I get the hardware to make this style of bunks as shown? I want the square type of pipes seen here not the flat type sold here

A good metal fabricator should be able to do the metal work, you may just have to supply the wood and carpet to cover it?

I can put the parts together, thats not the problem. I just to buy the different parts but don't know where to pick them up. These bunks are common enough that these parts should be sold pre-made.


Anyone know where they are sold? Particularly the bracket that holds the square stock to the trailer frame.

iboats and Champion trailers sells the "flat" type. The ones in the picture are "SQUARE". the part I'm referring to is the adjusting (up/down) "SQUARE" pipe, and the bracket that hold it to the trailer cross member. The swivel is easy to find.

Check out your local steel supplier and buy soem square steel tubing. You should be able to pick up some Cold Galvanizing Spray paint from your local marine supplier or online to protect them

Nobody knows where to get this stuff? DAM.. I thought this was gonna be an easy upgrade.
