Did that product maybe come out after my book was printed?
Yes it did, what also came out later was a service bulletin that told us that Merc started adding Teflon to 2-4-C and that makes it too slippery to use in roller or needle bearings.

Thanks Muc...I will be sure to use the specific Gimble grease.

Just keep the drive down and check them often

I replace mine every 4 years since Arizona is so hard on rubber

if i where to use anything it would be 303 aerospace protectent

wd40 will cause it to collect dirt then when the bellows moves the dirt will act as an abrasive
