its the cover that goes over the intake manifold, i think it is called a silencer i just found one online for like thirty bucs but thank you! another thing, the motor has a new tilt and trim motor on it or so the guy said anyways but when i hit the switch it wont pick the motor up. if i pick up on the motor then i can hear the tilt trying to work. what do you think? someone told me that it possibly needs new seals??
