don't know what ya got planned. but on mine, i just drain all the water out of it cold. remove the tstat and fill with anti freeze thru the tstat hole for the block. the manifold i fill directly too. i use a funnel for that and fill till full...
for a safe winterization, the key is to get all the water out of everywhere. if ya get all the water out ya don't even have to have anti freeze in it if ya don't want.. air don't freeze...
