Now it wont idle well and white carburated fuel sprays out the middle carb. It still sucks it in, has 130 psi compression across all 3, has good spark, and was adjusted fine. it will not run right with the cover on but with it off it runs great. any ideas? thanks...

Also, i am about to shoot this motor.

Last time I had fuel spray out of a carb, there was a broken reed valve on that cylinder. Does the spray pulse with the piston stroke?

The reed plates are located behind the plate that the carbs mount to. Remove carbs and take a bright flashlight and look into the hole behind carb to see the reed plates. If you have a broken one, you will have to remove that plate. If you don't see a problem, have some one crank the engine, with plug wires disconnected, and watch the plates. Do you have a factory manual for your motor, might be a good investment.

Screw from the carb holding the reed open. runs like a bumblebee in heat now.
