Sorry you guys with deckboats, houseboats and pontoon boats! I tried going back in to change the poll but I can't figure out how too! They are still boats!

79 Thompson 17.5 ft bow rider. They say once you get a boat that if you buy another you have to go bigger. So I guess the next one will have to be a cabin cruiser. Well that is what my wife says since we have been caught in the rain a few times.

Well, if I stick to the poll- Bowrider 4 Winns Marqise 180. Plywood POS johnboat 9.9 hp for POWERBOATS.

I couldn't figure out where the kayaks, canoes and a sailboat fit though..

Should all go well, I'll have a 1994 Bayliner 3055 Ciera by this weekend. A nice, clean, 30' on the cheap! (well, as cheap as can be expected) Yeah, I'll be a weekend boater with a slip... but trust me I'm not spending a fortune. For what 30' cruisers typically run, I think I did pretty well. The guy wanted his slip because he took advantage of the low prices on a new boat, and just wanted it gone before end of season. He lived near the lake and from what I saw took really good care of it. Best part, CASH... no loan!

I'm not very mechanically inclined, so having it checked out first by a marine mechanic. Hey, the way I see it, I saved enough on the boat that it's worth it. Not to mention I will know it's serviced by the professionals and won't have any worries (BTW I did ask about the marina mechanics, everyone I talked to said they were the best on the lake).

25 ft Bowrider now, Cabin Cruiser next. Perhaps something in the 30 ft range +/-. It'll stay at the marina full time.

Dad had 2 bow riders when I was growing up. Took the second one out a lot in high school. Always wanted a bass boat myself. Guess what I'll be doing on the weekends? Well, when I'm not hunting.

1999 ciera sunbridge twin 5.0l's here. i have owned many bowriders but finally got the boat i've always wanted. she's like an rv on water, sleeps 6 genset, more than enough room, plus i always get compliments on the lines and looks of her.

if i ever move up in boats, 2-bowties&abird, you sure have a nice looking rig... that would be something i think i'd like. great looking boat man....

i have a closed bow runabout w/sliding hardtop... which i like a lot..

1985 270 searay sundancer, 31 foot overall, ten foot on beam, twin 260 mercs.
only thing it could use is a gen set, and hard mount the bbq

Currently I have a SWEET 1973 Lowe 1648 Jon boat powered by a 1984 25 HP 2 stroke Merc. Easy everyone don't get jelouse.

I hope to "Upgrade" to a older (70's) Starcraft, mainly for fishing and tubing in the near future.
