MinnKota PowerdriveV2 problem

I have a Minnkota Powerdrive V2 with autopilot that does not turn to the left with the footpedal controls but will turn to the left under autopilot. Also I think the motor is too noisy, sending vibrations into the boat(and water,spooking fish) even under low speeds. Thanks for your help. Muskyfly

mine makes noise had to lower it more into the water, what type of boat do you have motor mounted on, metal will transfer more noise than fiberglass. mine is metal, but no noise from the mounting of it
