Smart Tabs SX on '92 Maxum 2100 SC

Was hoping for some input from the Nauticus experts on whether or not I can use these tabs on my boat. By the time I can get clear of the bunk AND have enough room for the actuator, I'm way too far inboard.

Take a look at the link John provided in my thread:

It looks like you can adjust them, so you only need 7.5 inches. I am still not sure exactly where they go in relation to the chines? Probably can get that info from the Nauticus site, but it is not my boat

talked to Greg at Nauticus. He's sending me the necessary hardware so I can install the adjustable stainless mount on the top of my actuator. This will allow me just the little bit of maneuverability I need to put the tab on the outboard side of teh bunk (right over the chine). The upper actuator mount will attach to the swim deck overhang right where it meets the vertical part of the transom.

Nauticus customer support is top notch.

My guess is that you did not send greg these pictures. From what I see here you should be able to move the tabs inboard a bit and have the room to mount the upper "Transom Bracket" on the flat (same plane) surface without a problem.

Just because we "recommend" that the tabs be mounted out board as much as possible does not mean that you can not move them inboard if needed.

It looks OK, just move them in.

I talked to Greg on the phone last week and we went over these pictures (as well as a few others).

I emailed him letting him know I didn't have any success getting them mounted, and havent heard back yet.

I had the same question??? I have the same problem as you did, not enough room, let us know how she performs, catalization etc..... be honest, I really would like to know, because I am facing the same problems on my boat(no room). Did you have to pay extra for the hardware??

Have not had a chance to test them out yet... the 10-day forecast has NINE days of thunderstorms

I will definitely post up how they work.

Nope. I called Greg and told him I thought the stainless upper bracket would give me more flexibility for the install, and I had a set arrive at my door the following day for free!
