What is the fuel pressure for a Mercrusier 4.3L, V-6

I have a Mercrusier, 4.3l, V-6, 175, 262. I think the fuel pressure is to high going into my carb. Do you know what the fuel pressure should be? Thank you

mech or elec pumps are fixed and cannot just change pressure.
What exactly is the problem with the fuel.

The engine kept stalling out after running great for about 1 hour. smelled strong gas sent and would not start back up. The carb and mechanical fuel pump have just been replaced and it still floods out

Nope....You have a float and that cut's off the fuel.
