Hi
i'm just in the process of fitting a new water pump impeller.I have removed all the casing bolt and finally freed the lower prop casing, but i can only get the casing to drop about 2cm.I can see the water pump through the gap and see the water pump bolts and even loosen them ,but i can't get the casing any lower. What is holding it up............?
I can also see a water pipe through the gap and that is free of the water pump.
thanks in advance for any help.

Never worked on your model but SELOC manual says to take the cover off of the front of the LU. You will find the shift linkage, the little rod that shifts the lower unit F-N-R. Remove the cotter pin and shift pin.

Go to Brownspointmarine.com and look up your year model. It won't tell you how but you will see all of the parts.
