oil in water

running my 25 hp evin. in a 55 gal barrell - missing and alot of oil is floating on top of the water - is this oil a sign of a problem?

Welcome to iboats.
The oil is most likely unburnt 2 stroke oil from the exhaust. When you say missing do you mean misfiring ??
The oil is not an issue at this time but the misfiring is if that is the case.
