Sears 3.6hp

I have a SEARS 3.6HP and I need to find out what the oil ratio should be. I have heard anywhere from 16:1 to 32:1.
The model # is 217-58588-0.
Also I would like to know the year of motor.

I have a sears 3.6 also, but when i get it running it seems to run for 10 to 15 mins heats up and stops. Wont start again till it cools ,what can cause this?

On this motor the water pump to cool engine only turns when in gear, so I suspect that it is shutting down if you are in neutral.
