It say it is a 75hp electric but it has no wires that go to the shift controls. It dosen't say electric shift eather it just say's electric. The motor # is V4S-13

That is not electric shift. Electric shift didn't appear till the 1962 models. So, the answer to the question is it takes 80-90 weight outboard gear oil. Wal Mart is just fine.

If you mean rebuild kits for carburetors, fuel pump, water pump, and stuff like that, right here at iboats is the answer.

However if you are talking about total rebuild like pistons and rings, there is no such critter. You have to order individual parts from a dealer.

like the fleet admiral said iboats is the place for all types of rebuild parts , fuel , engine, carbs , etc . as for the gear oil i have read alot of reports and they all seam to be in same ballpark , so the supertech at walmart would work great ( that is what i use ).

What type of gear oil should I use in my 1967 80 hp Evinrude? Isn't it different than the 1961 75 hp? I looked at WalMart but could only find the type recommended for the 1961 75hp.
