Replacing 1990 V4 140 with a 1991 v4 140

I would like to know if there were any significant changes between model years that might hinder this replacement. I am hoping to utilize the current mounting set up and controls and just remove my 1990 and drop the replacement 1991 onto my boat. Am I a dreamer that it will be that easy?

if both motors a equipped alike, it is just plug and play.
