Yes i can imagine. Three years ago i lived in north Texas, i do not remember what year it was, but the water at Lake Lewisville came all the way up to the top of the long and steep boat ramp at the Hickory something or other, Hickory Creek ramp i believe that it was, the one by the I35 bridge, anyway in the summer of the following year one could walk almost 30 yards out onto the lake bed.
What i have experienced in my eleven years of north Texas living is, the weather can go from one extreme to the next within a few hours.
