Mercruiser 4.3 Caravelle won't move

Hi

I have a Caravelle 187BR that will start and run, it will go in reverse and go into forward - but it won't move. I've replaced the stern drive....but still nothing. any ideas of where to go from there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unless the 2nd drive was junk then the coupler is the most likely the culprit
WITH THE ENGINE OFF, shift into fwd and stand on a prop blade while having someone look at the inputshaft behind the motor. If it turns and the motor dosent, the coupler is bad.
