1990 evinrude 50hp can i make it power tilt ?

Hey guys, I have a 1990 evinrude 50hp Model VE50BELESR On a 1991 17' Sea Nymph

I dont have power tilt and want to install it. What do i need to do this

No doubt you could, since that option was available. However, new...just the lift assembly goes for $930, if you can find one. That doesn't include the electrical components.

You'd be better off to sell yours and buy one with the T&T. You're talking about a 19 year old outboard, there.

Thanks for the reply, It has a hydrolic type shock in the center, i was thinking that i would just need a motor added to that ?

It's not that simple, I'm afraid. You can go to the BRP parts site at
http://shop2.evinrude.com and go to your year's engine page and compare parts.
