That should be a 1978 235HP Evinrude.

Holy hell!!! That is not the motor on my boat! I have a 60hp super sea horse. Those numbers came from an extra motor mount that came with the boat I purchased. Thanks for the help though.

If i posted a private message to you with a picture of boat and motor do you think you could give me some insight on what I have?

There may be a small, round, silver plug on the motor's powerhead that has the model number on it.
