Countdown is over for me

Yup, the boat is in the water. Everything with the boat worked as advertised. However on the way there, The surge brakes on the trailer was acting up. I started slowing way down prior to a 4 way stop about 200 yards before the stop sign. Once I hit the brakes, the left front axle brake locked up and the right side did nothing. I got stopped with my front end of the truck in the intersection. When I preceded to take off, it stayed locked up. I managed to power through the intersection with the tire squalling and leaving one long black mark. I pulled off the side of the road and tried to jerk the trailer with the truck. It still stayed locked up. Then I decided to back up and hit the brakes. Bingo, that did it. Other than that incident, all went well.

The long cold winter only lets me know how my life on my boat is so great. Yes, life on a boat is great no matter its size or looks. ................SS

Yes it does. I didn't even get upset this morning when I heard a banging against the side of the boat. Turns out that a bass tournament was going on and one of the guys was plugging away along side of my boat. I even handed him a cup of hot coffee.

Spring hit's the North Coast. Congrats on the launch of another Boating filled season SS................................Cause and a wise man once said....

Great news..... now since the trailer is empty service those brakes.....

Yup, I'm headed to the trailer section to pick some brains During the summer season, the boat trailer doubles as my log trailer for hauling fire wood. When hauling that stuff, I got to have some great brakes.

all you guys have me green with envy!!!! Divorce attorney says not to touch the boat. I can't even take it to get it serviced. Im looking at not hitting the water at all this year!!!

I am green with envy. The weather here was just nasty so we stayed home.
